Suwanee Worship Center Welcomes Pastor Tony Phillips!

Rev. Anthony J. Phillips, Sr.
“Pastor Tony Phillips”

Pastor Tony is currently serving as the Pastor of Suwanee Worship Center in Suwanee,
Georgia. He is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Tony
graduated from Emory University with a Master’s in Divinity in 2017. Prior to answering
the call to ministry, he had a 20-year career in global marketing and worked for The
Coca-Cola Company. He graduated from Emory with an MBA in 2006.
Pastor Tony is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received his
BA and played four years of Varsity Lacrosse, finishing as an All-Conference Senior All
Star. Pastor Tony has raised 4 boys, his youngest is currently in High School. All of
them are competitive basketball players that he has coached.
Pastor Tony is very involved in the local community as a sports coach and minister
through Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has also run several food distribution
programs to serve those in need. Pastor Tony has served in global missions as well,
having travelled to over 20 countries for ministry and business. He is also a fitness
enthusiast, and he regularly competes in 5K, 10K, obstacle and multi-sport races.
